In June 1962 Honourable sheth Sonawala had commenced Primary and Secondary school with Law college. He belongs to our town and presently stayed at Bombay. In 1970 a two story big building was prepared by the donation of sheth Sonawala to The Nadiad Education Society on the name of his family members. His purpose was to expand educational facilities in the town. The school was nominated as V.M. Bhagat & S.C. Sonawala Highschool.
The highschool had started higher secondary in 1977, Both science and general stream as a new pattrn 10+2 By the Gujarat government. At that time it was the first and only higher secondary in the Nadiad town.
